Stoke City agree Sharp deal
Premier League side Stoke City have agreed a two-year sponsorship deal which means the away end at the Bet365 stadium will now be known as the Sharp Stand for the next two seasons.
The Sharp branding will also appear on other club inventory.
The deal has been struck with Altodigital, a Sharp re-seller, and described by the club as one of the UK's most respected office technology specialists.
Chief executive Tony Scholes commented: "Sharp have a worldwide reputation for excellence in their chosen field and we are delighted they have decided to enter a football sponsorship with Stoke City.
"The fact that they, via Altodigital, feel we can provide the perfect brand platform is a real coup for the Club."
Tim Hubbard, Business Development Director at Altodigital, commented: "With Stoke being a global brand now with strong ties in North America and Asia to compliment longstanding reputation in the UK, they are the perfect choice of partner for a global business like Sharp.
"It has been a pleasure to be a part of making it happen and we look forward to what the future brings."
Stuart Sykes, Managing Director, Sharp Business Systems UK, said: "This sponsorship was an easy decision; we get to work closely with our partner Altodigital and we get to support a club with a growing global fanbase. We're proud to start this association with the Potters."
