The event is the latest in an established, nationwide series organised by the footballtradedirectory.com (FTD) and attracts clubs from the Premier League to grass roots to meet a variety of potential suppliers, sponsors and fundraisers.
There are some headline exhibitors like Mars and Ticketmaster alongside a range of football suppliers and services. Over 100 companies are represented.
FTD's managing director, John Booth, has a longstanding relationship with the Potteries club having been their Commercial manager for three years before setting up the FTD business in 2007.
'We are delighted to be at the Britannia and it is good to see a clutch of Potteries based companies exhibiting. Not only Ticketmaster who have one of their main offices in the City but locally owned companies like Tickets.com, Mercury Sports Products, Anita Harris Pottery and Broxap are also main exhibitors.
Giles Bayliss, Business Development Director for Tickets.com is a Stoke City Season Ticket holder and commented:
'Tickets.com are delighted to be attending the FTD Networking Event at The Britannia Stadium. Having attended several of the FTD's events over the past year as a delegate this will be our first event that we will be attending as an exhibitor. Having witnessed the popularity and calibre of attendees at the FTD's previous events in made absolute sense to be taking a stand at the event which is to be hosted at my home town club."
The event is free to attend and anyone wishing to book a delegate space can do so by calling 0843 507 9000 or emailing ollie@sportsglobal.co.uk.
Over the years many clubs have found new sponsors or better suppliers from coming along. Non-League football is particularly well served with many of the companies involved specialising in the grass roots game.
The event starts at 11 am and runs until 3pm. parking is free.
