Struggling Weston Super Mare see game posponed as manager quits

They say it doesn't rain but it pours - and that's pretty accurate at Vanarama South side, Weston Super Mare.

The club have announced the departure of head coach Micky Bell by mutual consent.

The Board have thanked him for his efforts on behalf of the club but no detailed statement was forthcoming.

The club are some seven points from safety at the foot of the table.

To cap a bad weekend for the strugglers, the game with Whitehawk was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at the Woodspring Stadium.
