Stuart Pearce leaves Nottingham Forest after defeat to Millwall

Reports on Sunday tea-time on the BBC confirm that Stuart Pearce has left his position as manager of Championship side Nottingham Forest.

The so called 'fans favourite' has seen his slide down to 12th place in the table after a good start to the season. Defeat to relegation threatened Millwall at the City Ground on Saturday seems to have been the final straw for Forest's owners.

Pearce seemed to have turned the corner when beating arch rivals Derby County two weeks ago but back-to-back defeats have taken the shine of that result.
