Tottenham agree stadium extension deadline

Tottenham have agreed an extension until the end of April to decide if they will play at Wembley or White Hart Lane next season.

Originally, Spurs had to make a decision by today as to whether they would play at Wembley next season or stay at their current White Hart Lane Stadium for another year.

The extension had been agreed with Wembley National Stadium Limited until April 30.

Chairman Daniel Levy, revealed that they could continue to play at White Hart Lane next season and then move to Wembley for the following campaign if they feel their new stadium won't be ready for the start of the 2018/19 season. If Tottenham did take this option then they would move into the 61,000-seater stadium for the 2019/20 season.
