Tottenham look for record sponsorship naming rights

 

Levy, who always expects staff to achieve his targets, is said to be looking for £25m a year from each agreement.

To put that in context, the expected naming rights deal for the Olympic Stadium with Indian technology giants and car makers Mahindra is understood to be worth £5m annually.

Levy already has a shirt deal in place with Nike for £25m a year, although Spurs' £10m-a-year contract with Under Armour still has one more season to run.

Finding a ground sponsor prepared to pay five times the price of the Olympic Stadium contract will be a lot more problematic, especially when London rivals Chelsea are also in the market for a naming-rights partner.
