TOWIE star set to buy 20% stake in non-league club
Billericay Town's chairman, Dan Groves, has said "there is truth" in the reports that former The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright is set to buy a stake in the club.
Groves said the "finer points" of a deal are yet to be released with reports suggesting he is set to buy a 20% stake in the club.
Billericay are currently eighth in the Isthmian League Premier Division and three points outside the play-off places.
Wright played non-league football for the likes of Lewes, Crawley Town and Rushden & Diamonds.
The club have recently been taken over by multi-millionaire Glenn Tamplin, who has said he is "comfortable" investing £10,000 a week.
