Vauxhall score hat-trick as England, Wales and Northern Ireland all qualify in France
England, Northern Ireland and Wales have all qualified for the knockout stages of the Championship in France and Vauxhall are the proud lead sponsor of all three nations.
It is believed to be the first time that one company has been the lead sponsor of three nations that have made it through to the latter stages of a major competition.
Wales, who topped Group B, will play Northern Ireland in Paris on Saturday and England will be hoping make the Quarter Finals when they face Iceland in Nice on Monday.
Andrew Curley, Vauxhall Head of Sponsorship and Events, commented: “This is a truly fantastic achievement by England, Northern Ireland and Wales.
“As the lead sponsor of all three nations for the last five years we are delighted to see such unprecedented levels of success.
“We have seen outstanding levels of engagement with our #GetIN campaign as the wave of football fever sweeps across all three nations and we wish them all well in the Round of 16.
“The surge in interest and publicity across all three competing nations has been outstanding and we have been working closely with each nation to capitalise on the outstanding success.
“The only disappointment is that we will only be able to see two of our teams go through to the last eight.”
Vauxhall became the first brand to be the lead sponsor all four Home Nations in 2011 in a deal that currently extends until the end of the World Cup in Russia in 2018.
As part of the #GetIN campaign Vauxhall has gone in search of a trademark celebration for each nation and has given Wales’ fans the opportunity to be part of the team photo, entertained over 40,000 fans at the Titanic Fanzone in Belfast and celebrated the England versus Wales game with a party at Robbie Savage’s house as well as being the official sponsor of the England Vauxhall Media Centre.
