Wales agree deal extention with Adidas
Global sportswear manufacturer Adidas has extended its kit supply deal with the Welsh national team after a successful year for the nation.
The four-year agreement between Adidas and the Football Association of Wales (FAW) will see the German company supply the team through the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying, as well as the tournament itself if they qualfy.
A new kit will not be unveiled until November 2017, with Adidas keen to continue to showcase the team’s Uefa Euro 2016 shirt for as long as possible.
Appearing in their first international tournament since 1958, Wales defied the odds at Uefa Euro 2016 to reach the semi-finals, before ultimately losing out to eventual winners Portugal.
