Weather takes toll as Sheffiled United v Scunthorpe game falls victim to weather

The SkyBet League 1 game between Sheffield United and Scunthorpe was postponed on Sunday morning due to snow. Whilst the pitch may have been playable the conditions around the stadium were felt to be unsafe for fans.

A host of non-league games in Yorkshire have fallen foul of the sudden cold snap. Only 8 Evo Stik League matches survive with the Farsley v Darlington game still in doubt with a late morning inspection.

In the Conference AFC Telford United  v  Gateshead, Alfreton Town  v  Dartford and Wrexham  v  Forest Green Rovers were also postponed.
