Wembley winners up for sale as owners seek new blood

The Conference North side enjoyed the greatest day in their history when beating Conference Premier side, Wrexham on penalties at Wembley last month but are suddenly facing an uncertain future after owners Steve and Eman Forster today announced their intention to sell up.
The husband and wife team, son-in-law and daughter of Hull City owner Assem Allam, have been in charge of Ferriby since November 2013 and have overseen a golden period for the club.
The decision of the Forster family to walk away will shock North Ferriby fans still basking in FA Trophy glory, but the owners insist "the time is now right to step aside."
A statement from Eman and Steve Forster read: "After two very exciting years as owners of North Ferriby United we have decided that the time is now right for us to sell the club.
"From the start of our tenure our intention was to relieve the immediate financial burden on North Ferriby United and bring to it a financial stability that meant all efforts could be concentrated on the pitch.
"We feel the results of our investment speak for themselves, in particular the club's recent success at Wembley.
"However, we also feel that we have achieved all we can at North Ferriby United and this, along with a desire to pursue our other interests, means the time is now right for us to step aside.
"We hope everyone associated with the club has enjoyed the last two years as much as we have. We would like to take this opportunity to wish North Ferriby United all the very best for the future."
Chairman Les Hare and manager Billy Heath masterminded two years of success on the pitch, narrowly missing out on promotion to the Conference last May before surpassing all expectations at Wembley.
Overturning a 2-0 deficit against non-league giants Wrexham in the FA Trophy final, Ferriby held their nerve to win 5-4 on penalties and earn national headlines for their heroics.
According to reports on BBC Radio 5's Non League Show, the sale is not urgent and the owners will wait until the right buyer comes along - it is definitely not a fire sale.
