West Brom and boss Tony Pulis patch up differences
According to local
The bookies normally have their radar pretty well tuned in when it comes to the managerial sack race and it is no shock that West Brom boss Tony Pulis is favourite to be the next Premier League boss to leave.
Pulis has been unhappy at the support from the new owners and rumours in the West Midlands suggest he doesn't see eye to eye with John Willams the Club's new Chief Exec.
West Brom were one of the lowest spending clubs when the transfer window closed this week and Pulis - under fire from disgruntled supporters - was hoping to improve the squad at his disposal.
The record signing of Nacer Chadli from Spurs and picking up Welsh striker Robson Kanu who was a free agent are big plusses - but Puiis had said he needed five or six players and the only other summer additions have been Matt Phillips from QPR and Allan Nyom from Watford. The only player of note to leave was striker Rickie Lambert to Cardiff City.
Rumours were rife that Pulis was about to leave but it was confirmed on Friday that he is remaining at the Hawthornes.
