Arsenal Women to play all WSL games at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal have announced that all 11 of their Women’s Super League (WSL) home fixtures for the 2025–26 season will be played at Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners made the Emirates their primary home last season, staging nine WSL matches at the ground and recording an average attendance of 34,110.

Following their recent triumph in Lisbon, where they were crowned European champions, Arsenal will begin the defence of their Women’s Champions League title at Meadow Park — their long-established home in Borehamwood — which will host all of their group-stage fixtures under the competition’s new format. Should the team progress to the knockout stages, those ties will be played at the 60,704-capacity Emirates.

All of Arsenal’s domestic cup home matches will continue to take place at Meadow Park, while the WSL fixtures will benefit from the larger stage throughout the season.

“For us, this is just the beginning, and bringing every WSL match to the Emirates is another step for more supporters to be part of this special journey,” said head coach Renee Slegers.

The club reported the sale of over 415,000 tickets across the 2024–25 campaign, representing a 20% increase on the previous season. In line with the move, Arsenal will introduce a dedicated season ticket for the women's team at Emirates Stadium for the first time.

In response to the announcement, the Arsenal Women Supporters’ Club said:
“We are delighted to hear that all WSL home games will be played at Emirates Stadium next season. This allows more people than ever to experience a WSL matchday and help Arsenal to build on the success we achieved in Lisbon.”

Last season, Aston Villa and Leicester City also hosted all of their WSL home fixtures at their primary club venues — Villa Park and the King Power Stadium, respectively.

Elsewhere, it was recently confirmed that Everton Women will relocate to Goodison Park next season. The historic 39,572-capacity stadium — no longer set for — will become the largest dedicated women’s football stadium in England.
