Capelli Sport and Cabo Verde Football Federation Unite in Landmark Partnership Ahead of Historic FIFA World Cup Debut

Capelli Sport, the global sportswear brand headquartered in New York City, has announced a four-year partnership with the Cabo Verde Football Federation (FCF), naming Capelli Sport the Official Technical and Apparel Partner of Cabo Verde Football.

The partnership arrives at a transfor­ma­tional moment for both organizations, as Cabo Verde prepares for its first-ever appearance at the FIFA World Cup. With the tournament unfolding across North America, the home of Capelli Sport’s global headquarters, the collaboration uniquely connects a nation’s historic rise with a brand positioned at the center of the global game.

Under the agreement, Capelli Sport will design and supply custom match kits, training wear, and travel apparel for all Cabo Verde national teams. The partnership will support Cabo Verde’s participation across major international competitions, qualifiers, international friendlies, and federation training camps across Africa and worldwide.

For a nation defined by resilience, pride, and community, qualifying for the FIFA World Cup represents a historic breakthrough moment. As part of the agreement, Capelli Sport has worked hand-in-hand with the federation to create modern, high-performance kits that celebrate Cabo Verde’s heritage and national identity while delivering elite-level technical performance. The completed designs embody a bold new era for Cabo Verdean football and will be revealed on the global stage soon.

Cabo Verde will make its historic FIFA World Cup debut on June 15 against Spain, followed by additional group-stage matches on June 21 versus Uruguay and June 27 against Saudi Arabia. In addition, Capelli Sport will outfit the Cabo Verde women’s national team at the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), kicking off on March 18, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing the women’s game.
