Championship: West Brom appoint former Huddersfield boss Carlos Corberan as Head Coach

Struggling Championship side West Brom have appointed Carlos Corberan as their new Head Coach.

The Baggies currently sit 23rd in the Championship having only managed two wins all season under former boss Steve Bruce, who was sacked following after a goalless draw with Luton earlier this month.

Corberan takes charge having left fellow Championship side Huddersfield in the summer, having guided them to the Play-off final last season.

He has already had another job since then, taking charge of Greek side Olympiakos in August before being sacked after only 49 days in charge.

Corberan's first role in England came as a coach at Leeds United, working under Marco Bielsa as they won the Championship back in 2020.
