The Project

Manchester City FC appointed Electro Automation to deliver a comprehensive stadium access system at the Etihad Stadium. The project required full-height and half-height turnstile installation throughout the stadium, meeting FA Specification Grade H requirements while handling the high volumes of match-day attendance typical of a Premier League top-flight club.

The system needed to integrate with existing ticketing infrastructure, provide real-time monitoring of crowd flow, and incorporate DDA-compliant disabled access gates. Custom colour combinations were required to match club branding, and the entire installation had to meet the endurance and security standards appropriate to one of the Premier League's highest-profile venues.

The Result

Electro Automation delivered a complete stadium turnstile solution across the Etihad Stadium, including full-height and half-height turnstiles with pay windows. TFHT9211 and TFHT9212 stadium turnstiles provide maximum security and precise control of pedestrian flow through all entrance and exit points, with solenoid electrically controlled locking mechanisms ensuring reliable operation under high match-day demand.

The system integrates with the club's existing ticketing platform, supports real-time crowd flow monitoring, and includes DDA-compliant access gates to meet accessibility requirements. Custom colour finishes were applied throughout to align with Manchester City branding. The installation meets FA Specification Grade H and provides the Etihad with the access infrastructure required to manage tens of thousands of fans safely and efficiently for every event.
